Netsertive, a fast-growing online ad technology company, has announced the creation of an industry-focused online marketing solution for appliance, mattress, and furniture dealers and the hiring of Brian Dick as Director of Business Development, Home Goods and Services.
Brian will focus on driving the overall strategic sales and revenue acquisition in the home goods and services vertical market, which includes appliances, kitchen and bath, furniture, mattresses and blinds.
Netsertive will be interfacing with top home goods brands and local dealers at three industry gatherings in the coming weeks, including Nationwide PrimeTime! running August 21-24 in Dallas, Texas (Booth 2150), MEGA 2011 Fall Show from August 25-28 in Nashville (where MEGA WebAdvertising powered by Netsertive will be unveiled (Booth 403), and the Brandsource Convention spanning August 28-31 in Las Vegas, Nevada (Booth 32).
Nearly all consumers now use online media when researching products or services in their local area (BIA/Kelsey, 2010). Netsertive helps local home goods dealers — and their manufacturers — embrace this new reality by enabling them to more efficiently transform online discovery into offline sales. Netsertive’s technology platform specifically addresses the needs of small to medium-sized businesses and their suppliers, helping both reach new customers with previously unavailable online targeting capability.
Netsertive’s exclusive system continually refines its proprietary knowledgebase for the home goods industry, delivering search advertising as well as co-branded online display (banner) advertising — at a fraction of the cost of many traditional marketing tactics — because it is data-driven and hyper-responsive to industry dynamics.
“Even as homes sales remain largely stagnant, consumers are still spending money to upgrade their living spaces,” said Netsertive CEO Brendan Morrissey. “To better position retailers in front of these eager consumers, we provide a customized solution that incorporates our industry expertise and proprietary Learning Engine technology. When we’ve applied this approach in other industries, our clients have seen large increases in local sales opportunities, at a lower unit cost to them.”
Brian Dick has extensive executive experience and knowledge in managed services and advertising sales, with a strong background in monetizing Internet and technology platforms, including mobile video and ad-supported content platforms. Prior to Netsertive, he served in a number of business development roles including head of Business Development for AdGenesis Digital, Vice President of Business Development for IAC (The Daily Beast), and as one of the founding team members of Google TV Ads.
Before Google TV, Brian spent four years with the North American sales organization for Google in direct sales for large B2B manufacturers. He has also served in numerous interactive marketing and sales strategy positions with MGM Home Entertainment and strategic planning with CBS Entertainment. Brian graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and Bachelor of Arts degree in film production.
