Netsertive Leadership

Brendan Morrissey

CEO & Co-Founder

Brendan Morrissey is the CEO and Co-founder of Netsertive. Brendan has over 20 years of experience in mobile, online, telecom and marketing technology environments. Prior to co-founding Netsertive in 2009, Brendan was VP of Business Development for Motricity, a mobile marketing tech company serving content companies and mobile carriers. Prior to that, he was VP at venture-backed GoldPocket Wireless, where he played a major role in the growth, subsequent sale and integration of the company into Motricity.

Brendan previously held leadership positions at tech startups Nextel Communications & InternetConnect, as well as global consultancies KPMG (BearingPoint) and CSC Consulting. Brendan also serves on the board of Band Together NC, whose mission is to connect the community to nonprofits through the power of live music.  BT has raised over $10 million for local causes over 20 years.

Brendan received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Economics. A varsity rower in college, he’s currently obsessed with his family and single-track mountain biking.

Sean Witty

Chief Financial Officer

Sean enjoys building companies and helping teams bridge the gap between nebulous strategic objectives and specific tasks for all parts of the organization. With over 20 years of experience, Sean has worked in companies ranging from a handful of employees to Fortune 500 enterprises, bought, run, and sold his own company, and experienced multiple industries—including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and private investing. He was most recently CFO for Care Services, a PE-backed PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) company servicing hospices and institutional pharmacies across the country.

At Netsertive, Sean leads the finance team with a goal of bringing all of the company’s investments, analyses, and improvements into alignment with our customers’ goals and objectives.  

Sean has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He spends his time outside of work with his wife, three children, and two Frisbee-obsessed dogs.

Erin Martin

VP of Marketing

Erin leads the marketing organization that includes revenue marketing, product marketing, and the design teams at Netsertive. Erin has over fifteen years of experience in the marketing technology space, most recently at Mixpo, an ad tech company acquired by Netsertive in 2017, where she had leadership roles in marketing, client services, and operations. Her happy place is where marketing and operations collide, and is passionate about creating systems that put the right people, process, and technology together to do extraordinary things. 

She applies the same type of analytical thinking to her personal life and enjoys finding areas where work and life principles coincide. Erin has a BS in Marketing from Colorado State University where she graduated with honors. She lives in Seattle with her husband and daughter, where she enjoys anything that involves the outdoors.

Meaghann Nilsen

VP of Client Performance

Meaghann joined the Netsertive family in 2013.  During her tenure at Netsertive, Meaghann rose to the head of the account management team and is now the proud leader of the operations organization.  She brings to the role over 20 years of advertising and marketing experience including sales positions at both the FOX and ABC affiliate Boston broadcast television stations.  Meaghann is passionate about solving business problems and is committed to delivering client success. 


Meaghann is a true New Englander at heart having spent her childhood in Connecticut and over 15 years of her adult life in Boston.  She holds a BS in Journalism from Boston University’s College of Communication.  Meaghann currently resides in New Hill, NC with her husband, their two daughters, Maleigh and Evelynn, and their adorable pup, Sadie.

Ron Cygnarowicz

VP of Sales

Ron has over 20 years experience in holding CEO and VP roles at early-stage and high-growth technology companies. His most recent role was VP of Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Strategy for TransLoc Inc, which Ford Motor Company acquired in 2018. At TransLoc, Ron worked within Ford's autonomous vehicle division to grow the market share of SAAS products designed to benefit public transit operations.

Over the years, Cygnarowicz has served in a variety of start-up organizations. He co-founded PureStart Energy, an energy supplement company, in 2009 and served as CEO. He served at Pittsburgh-based start-up investment firm Hampshire Corp. He held interim CEO, vice president, and board advisory positions within several of Hampshire’s portfolios of early-stage and high-growth technology companies. Notable roles include serving as CEO of Lexon Media and also the American Entrepreneur Radio Network, as well as board advisor at Talkshoe.com, the first interactive podcast company.

Cygnarowicz enjoys advising early-stage companies, including those from the incubators at Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill. In 2019, he was named to the “40 Under 40” list of the Triangle Business Journal.

At Netsetive Ron is focused on building sales teams that provide expertise and counsel to help multilocation brands navigate continuous shifts in digital marketing to achieve the best returns on marketing spend investments.

Cygnarowicz holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Neuroscience & Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and studied Commercializing Technology at Carnegie Mellon University.  He resides in Wake Forest, North Carolina, with his three kids, wife, and a tireless Goldendoodle.

Herb Brittner

Senior Director of Technology

As Senior Director of Technology, Herb provides clear goals for the Product and Engineering teams as well as the company on what challenges we’re solving now and in the near future. Always keeping the customer’s goals top of mind and thinking outside the box ensures success, especially in an ever changing industry where there’s always something new to learn. Herb started his career with Netsertive as a Software Engineer shortly after the company’s founding, and has been a rock for Netsertive to depend on ever since. Herb and his teams have built and supported all of Netsertive’s technology and are excited for what the future of innovation holds as we continue. Herb is a true believer that our best ideas come from the group, we will always accomplish more by working together.


Herb holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. He lives in the Pittsburgh area with his wife and two adorable children.

Katie Ruiz

As the Director of Publisher, Katie leads the sales and service teams providing top-notch creative services and digital trainings to premium publishers and media companies. Katie has over seven years of experience in the advertising technology space, including her most recent position leading the Client Success team at Mixpo—an interactive ad technology company acquired by Netsertive in 2017. Katie is passionate about the client experience and has established a reputation for bringing the right people and processes together to deliver world class services. Katie holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington. She lives in the Seattle area with her husband and two puppies.

Kathy Million

VP of Client Success

Kathy kicked off 2021 by joining the Netsertive family. She leads the Client Success and Support teams with a goal of fine tuning client engagement to increase the quality of Netsertive’s client life cycle at every client touchpoint.

She brings to the role over 30 years of client success experience. Kathy has worked with and led teams supporting a wide range of industries including manufacturing, financial services, technology, healthcare, education and certifications, and private equity. She was most recently the Director of Enterprise Account Management for DealCloud, an Intapp Company where she was instrumental in developing their enterprise client engagement model while personally managing a group of their largest clients.

Kathy is passionate about delivering a client experience that is valuable and will drive loyalty, trust, and long term client partnerships.  

She lives in Raleigh with her husband and two Yorkies, but enjoys her time in the mountains.    She has two grown boys, one in Raleigh and one in Charleston, SC that she doesn’t get to spend near enough time with.
