Brendan Morrissey is the CEO and Co-founder of Netsertive. Brendan has twenty years of experience in mobile/wireless, online, telecom and marketing technology environments. Prior to starting Netsertive in 2009, Brendan was VP of Business Development for Motricity, a mobile marketing tech company serving content companies and mobile carriers. Prior to that, he was VP at venture-backed GoldPocket Wireless, where he played a major role in the growth, subsequent sale and integration of the company into Motricity. Brendan previously held leadership positions at tech startups Nextel Communications & InternetConnect, as well as global consultancies KPMG (BearingPoint) and CSC Consulting. Brendan also serves on the board of Band Together NC, which is a volunteer-driven non-profit with a mission to use live music as a platform for social change. Brendan received his Bachelor’s Degree from University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Economics. A varsity rower in college, he’s currently obsessed with his family and single-track mountain biking.
Mark Van Osdell leads Netsertive as CFO responsible for finance, administration and legal affairs. His motto is “Simplify, simplify, simplify.” Mark has over a dozen years of corporate finance and technology experience in high growth companies and served as Motricity’s Director of Finance contributing to high-profile finance and operations areas. In his tenure, he has served as a controller for a multi-location retailer and managed treasury and risk functions, including debt and equity funding. He was involved in raising over $200 million in venture capital while building operational processes for scaling. He also was an analyst consultant for NC State University’s technology transfer office, coordinating with venture-backed startups. Mark has a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from North Carolina State University. To prove he’s not completely left-brained, he once climbed Pikes Peak in January – in shorts – and plans to buy another motorcycle very soon.
Bringing over 20 years of experience working for Technology companies, Kevin Fitzgerald, Netsertive’s SVP of Sales, Marketing & Client Services, knows at the end of the day that success comes down to teamwork; working together toward common goals. Kevin came to Netsertive more recently as VP of SaaS software company PROS responsible for channel development, sales and client services but previously served as SVP of Sales & Business Development at SaaS email marketing firm iContact, now Vocus. In addition, Kevin carried various VP of Sales roles in early-stage tech companies such as ChannelAdvisor and Relativity Technologies along with various sales and marketing roles at IBM. Kevin holds a BS in Business Administration from Pace University and an MBA from Duke. In his off time he enjoys playing tennis with his wife and four kids. Two of them still let him win.
A successful entrepreneur, Bill has amassed over a decade’s worth of e-commerce and online marketing knowledge. He steers client campaign performance processes, working closely with the client services & product teams. In the past, Bill was the President of Cordless Workz, an online e-commerce business that provides consumer electronics to consumers, he was a Co-Founder of multiple specialty e-commerce websites – built & implemented the online marketing growth strategies and he developed early Internet expertise by establishing Siemens Mobile’s US online presence in e-commerce & online marketing. Bill holds a BS in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University. In high school Bill was an alpine ski racer; afterwards he worked for a ski boot company. Today he settles for hiking and biking with his family in the mountains of North Carolina.
David Logan serves as Netsertive’s SVP of Products and Technology. With over 25 years of experience, including executive and senior management roles focused on product planning, technology, marketing and sales strategy at companies including Aruba Networks, Ruckus Wireless and Vidder, Inc., Logan is responsible for the company’s industry-leading, end-to-end technology suite. If you have a chance to speak with David, you’ll find him passionate about his customers, technology and products. He is the inventor on multiple patents related to internet and application security and in 2002 was the founder of Covelight Systems, a behavior-analytics web security company. He also led Aruba Networks’ Government Solutions subsidiary as President for many years, where he led a groundbreaking initiative to develop classified-capable mobility solutions now in widespread use in the US DoD, Executive Branch and Intel community. He likes building products, new business models and helping companies grow.
Jim Doherty serves as Netsertive’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He has over 17 years of engineering and marketing experience across a broad range of networking, security and technology companies. With his strong focus on technology strategy, product positioning and marketing execution, Jim has held leadership positions at Cisco Systems, Certes Networks, Ixia, and Ericsson Mobile.
Doherty is also the co-author of the “Networking Simplified” series of books, which include SDN and NFV Simplified, Cisco Networking Simplified, and several other titles. Jim is a former U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant and holds a BS in electrical engineering from N.C. State University, and an MBA from Duke University.
Bob Bradley, VP of Sales and Business Development drives Netsertive’s brand-to-local vertical sales efforts and business development. Leveraging 20 years of technology experience, his motto is “It’s all about persistence.” Before Netsertive, Bob was the VP National Sales & Marketing for publicly traded mobile video technology provider ICOP Digital. He also was the VP Sales & Business Development for mobile video systems provider Integrian; established multi-channel sales org, where he oversaw 7X revenue growth; developed partnerships with Dell & Motorola and VP Sales & Marketing for software provider SlickEdit, driving growth with 1,400 new clients and 18 OEM partnerships. In his early career he was a Software Business Manager with manufacturer Eaton Corporation. Bob holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Masters degree from Carnegie Mellon. Losing his lower front teeth in a high school soccer game didn’t dampen his adventurous streak; he later bungee jumped off a bridge, well before it was either safe or popular.
Debbie leverages 25 years of human resource and business experience to lead development and execution of the people & talent strategy, including hiring, training & development and organizational planning. Debbie believes strongly that the team members are her customers and her job is to make Netsertive stronger every day. Before joining Netsertive, Debbie was the VP of Human Resources at Health Decisions, a specialty CRO providing clinical development services for bio-pharma companies worldwide. In addition, she was the VP of Human Resources at Digital Safety Technologies, a leading provider of mobile video surveillance technology. Previously, she held several other senior human resources roles in high growth tech companies such as ChannelAdvisor and Tangram Enterprise Solutions. Debbie has a B.A. degree in Psychology from Carson-Newman College as well as her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Debbie and her family enjoy traveling.
